*** [Before reading Veda, one should understand some basic facts so as to get correct meaning of the Hymns. Please look at the following book [:

*** Sapta Sindhu: {Saat Samundar} [Seven Oceons]:
SaptaSindhave ahamekam kathaa smrita:
{‘Sapta Sindhu’ pa hamaraa ego saa`c kahaani iyaad aail}:
[On ‘Sapta Sindhu’, I recall a true story]:

Ekadaa aha` sapatnikam daxinaBhaarataat UttaraBhaarate Relayaane aagacchan sma, manye yat yat daxiniYuropaat UttariYurope. Adya SrizTyaabda 1 972 949 116 divase Grees deshaat FinlaenD deshaParyantam.
{Ek ber hamani ke daxin Bhaarat se Uttar Bhaarat aawat rahee` jaa Rel-GaaRee se, ham aa hamaar patni; ee maanee ki Yurop ke daxini choR se Uttari choR, Aaj Sristyaabd 1 972 949 115 ke Grees se Finlaend tak kah sakile. Ab jaae dee` eh sab baatan ke.}

Nyoone, yaatraa 22 horaayaa:, tathaa aavayo: sthaana` vaayudwaar nikaTe aaseet.
[By and large, our travelling was for about 22 hours, and our seat was near the window.]
{Mo~T baat ee baa ki yaatraa karib 22 GhanTaa ke rahe, aa hamani ke seeT jangalaa ke paas rahe.}

Dwe sundaraBaalakau madhya sthaane aastaam, 6 tathaa 4 Varzau. BhojanaPascaat sarve supta:, parantu praata: Uzaakaale tau dwau baalakau vaayudvaar nikaTe aagatavantau aavaam sthaane, tathaa vaartaa: kritawantau.
[Two very cute boys were seating on the middle seats. Early in the morning they came to our seat and stared talking on different matters.]
{Dui go khoob sunar sunar laikaa karib 6 baris aa 4 baris ke beec ke seeT pa rahan sa. Raat me` ta~ sab log khaa-pee ke sut gail; bhore bhore jab tani anhaare rahe tabahee` uu duno laikawaa hamanee ke seeT pa aa gaile aa kuchuo kuchuo khoob batiaave lagale.}

[While singing good songs, all of a sudden they started shouting, clapping >> “Gangaa! Gangaa!! Gangaa!!!”, but where was Gangaa near Naagpur, we got surprized.]
{Neeman neeman geeto sunaawat rahan ki eke ber, duno laikwaa thapaRee bajaa bajaa ke cillaye lagale >> “Gangaa! Gangaa!! Gangaa!!!”,
Baakir eehaa` Naagpur ke najdeek ‘Gangaa’ kahaa`?
Hamanee ke ta~ da`g.}

{Feru 5 – 7 minaT me` duno taali bajaa ke kahlan: “Gangaa! Gangaa!! Gangaa!!!”
Ab hamani ke samhajh me` aail ki oh laikawan ke kawano nadee Gange laagat rahe.
Kaahe ki uu ta~ Gangaa jausan baR nadi ta dekhalahee`ye naa rahas, eh se eh laikan ke kawano choT-moT nadee ‘Gange’ laagat rahe.}

[The same childish way, the above Westerns thought: The Vedic “Sindhu”, simply a river, ‘Sindhu River’.
For Westerns, ‘Sindhu’ means “Sindhu River” only; but for Easterns and particularly for Vedas ‘Sindhu’ means “a horse”, “a River”, and “a Sea or Ocean” as the case may be.
The same as ‘dhaatu’ means: a Metal, Semane or a Verb-root as the case may be; whether it is concerned with ‘Physical Domain’, ‘Biological Domain’ or ‘Literary Domain’.
Even the same Hymna may have different ‘Rigvedeeya meaning’ and ‘Yajurvedeeya meaning’.]

{Theek eehe haal baa, uupar ke logan ke baa, je:
Ved ke ‘Sindhu’ = ‘Saagar’, 'Samundar' caahe ‘Mahaasaagar’ ke badale, ee log
Sindhu = “Sindhu Nadi” maan lele.
>>> Hamanee ke osaheeye ha`see chuTataa ee sab jaan ke, jaisan ke oh duno bacawan ke kawano choTo nadi ke dekh ke:
“Gangaa! Gangaa!! Gangaa!!!” kahalaa pa laagat rahe.
Laikawan ke khusi khaatir hamaniyo ke kawano choTo nadi ke dekh ke “Gangaa! Gangaa!! Gangaa!!!” kahe laganijaa thapaRee bajaa bajaa ke haa haa haa...
Ab ee ‘Satya kathaa’ khatam.}

 >>> Ataeva vaya` kathayaava:
'SaptaSindhu' athavaa 'Sapta Sindhava:'  arthaat "Sapta Mahaasaagaraa:" yatha:-
{Ehee se ham kahataani:
'SaptaSindhu' maane "Saat Samundar aa Saat Mahaasaagar" jaise}:
[That is why we say:
'SaptaSindhu' means 'Seven Oceans' like]:

1. 'SindhuMahaasaagar:'
{'Hind Mahaasaagar'} [Indian Ocean]
2. 'UttariPrashaant Mahaasaagar:'
{'Uttari Prashaant Mahaasaagar' }
['North Pacific Ocean']
3. 'daxiniPrashaant Mahaasaagar:'
{'dakhini Prashaant Mahaasaagar'}
['South Pacific Ocean']
4.  'UttariAndha Mahaasaagar:'
{'Uttari Andha Mahaasaagar'}
[North Atlantic Ocean]
5.   'daxini Andha Mahaasaagar:'
{'dakhini Andha Mahaasaagar'}
[South Atlantic Ocean]
6. 'Uttari Mahaasaagar:' {'Uttari Mahaasaagar'} ['Arctic Ocean']
7. 'daxini Mahaasaagar:' {'daxini Mahaasaagar'} ['Antarctic Ocean']

Etaan "Sapta Sindhava:" Bhaarateeya 'Shruti-Smrityaanusaare0Ia'.
{Ehe sab hawan sa "Saat Samundar" je Bharat ke log jamaanaa se jaanataare, aapan 'Sruti Smriti' aa 'Ved' se.}
[These are the 'Seven Oceans' known in India, since time immemorial; what the Indians know according their 'Veda' or 'Shruti Smriti'.]

Bhaarateeya Mudraa:
Kecan deshasya mahatvam, tasya ‘Mudraayaa: naamni eva` Prakaare0Ia drishyate.
{Bhaarateey Mudraa:
Kawano desh ke Itihaas ke jaankaari khaatir oh desh ke ‘Mudraa ke Naav aa Prakaar’ ke baRaa mahatva holaa.}
[Indian Currency:
One main aspect of the past is determined by the ‘Name and Type of Currency’ of a country.]

Pura, Bhaaratasya anekadeshenaSambandhamaasit Vyaaparik, Saanskritik eva` anya roope0Ia.
{Bahut pahile, Bhaarat ke Sansaar ke anek deshan se khoob acchaa sambandha rahe Vyaapaarik, Saanskritik aa dusar prakaaran se.}
[Earlier, India used to have trade, cultural and other relations with a vast area of the World spreading through ‘Seven Oceans’.]

Etat spazTam, yat Bhaarateey Mudraa: “Rupyakam, Rupees, Rs, Re, INR and Paisa, Paise, Peso” aadi Vishwasya 14 deshesu 9115 Varze ca bhavati.  ‘Rupyakam’ Mudraayaa: nirmaa0Iam, ‘Rupaa’, Rasaayanik Sanket: Ag, naamni dhaatunaa abhavat.
{Ee saaf baa, kaahe ki Bhaarateey Mudraa: “Rupee, Rupees, Rs, Re, INR and Paisa, Paise, Peso” aadi ke upayog Sansaar ke kam se kam 14 deshan me` aajo Sri: 9115 me` holaa. Sanskrit Shabda ‘Rupyakam’, je Rupaa se banal baa, jekar maane holaa tatva ‘Caandee’, Rasaayanik Sanket: Ag se banal baa, kaahe ki pahile Rupayaa Caandie se banat rahe.}
[This is evident, since Indian Currency: “Rupee, Rupees, Rs, Re, INR and Paisa, Paise, Peso” are in use, even in 21st Century at least by 14 Countries spread over many continents as shown below: Ref. ISO 4217.]
Kra. Desha: Mahaadesha: Mudraa Sanketa:

[The above 14 countries spread over Asia, Africa, Central America, South America, even in 21st Century are using their Currencies the same as Indian Currency called Rupee, Re; Rupees, Rs; Paise, Paisa, Paisaa, Peso.]

>>> Mahatvapoor0Iam: Etaan sarve 14 deshaan  daxiniGolaardhasya 4 Mahaadeshesu aasan.

[Remarkably: All the above 14 countries, lie in the 4 Continents of the Southern Hemisphere of the Globe.]

>>> Etaan sarve Bhaaratasya “Sapta Sindhavasya” Prabhaava:, Na tu sapta nadinaam.
{Ee ta sab “Saat Samundare” ke prabhaav ha, naa ki saat nadiyan ke.}
[All these are the effect of “Sapta Sindhu”, not of 7 rivers.]

[Are all these, the effect of “Sapta Sindhu” => “Seven Rivers” of India!!! As interpretted by Westerns, Ha! ha!! ha!!!]
Etaan gnaanaat vaya` jaanaava: yat, puraa Bhaaratena sah adhunaa yatra yatra ‘Rupyakam’ eva` ‘pa0Iakam’ 9115 Varze calati, tatra Bhaaratasya Vyaapaarik-Aarthik- Saanskritik-raajanaitik samvandhamaaseet.

[Knowing all these we can say that: Long ago where ever ‘Rupee’ or ‘paisa’ is used today in 21st Century, even beyond ‘Seven Sea’ away, India had Cultural, Business, Economic and Political relations.]

"Sapta Saindhava:" adhunaa vaartaa: sampoornam 'Shruti-Smrityaanusaare0Ia'.
{"Saat Samundar" ke baat aaj khatam. 'Sruti-smriti' ke anusaar.
["Sapta Sindhu" talk is now complete according to 'Sruti-Smriti.]
